"The B Stands for #Boss"

CourtneyB is an Independent RnB/Soul Recording Artist born and raised in the DMV area. Always having the support of her family, she began entering talents shows as early as 6 years old. CourtneyB went on to sing in choirs at Oxon Hill Middle and Oxon Hill High school. She continued her studies at Norfolk State University, where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Music Media with a concentration in voice and a minor in piano. CourtneyB has sang background vocals for musical greats, such as Lalah Hathaway. She has been privileged to grace the stages of The Capitol Arena, Royal Farms Arena, The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, The Howard Theatre, Takoma Station, and many churches, and lounges throughout the DC area. CourtneyB has also volunteered her services at local festivals such as Lake Arbor Day (7 consecutive years) and has sang The National Anthem for the Charles County Sheriff Department, Washington DC Valor, and The Baltimore Brigades arena football teams.

CourtneyB’s single, I’ve Been Waiting, was released in December 2015, and her EP, #Boss in April of 2016. She is gearing up to release her new album later in 2019.
